I have two dogs and a cat.  We want someone to stop by to let our dogs out in the morning and the evening.  The cat only needs food at night and a litterbox change every few days. How much would this cost?

It would be a base rate of $10. You would add another $10 for the dog and $5 for the cat. It would be a total of $25 per day.
Hi, what would it cost for someone to stay with our 14 year-old lab? She requires Prednisone every other day and needs frequent trips outdoors?

It would be a base rate of $30 each evening (from about 5PM one evening to 5PM the next evening). The single dog adds $10 to the base rate. Lastly, oral medication would add $1.00 every other night.
Grand total would be $41 per medicated evening and only $40 per night without meds.

Overbooking
If you really need a petsitter but we're already full, we might be able to offer our "Overbooking Service." We will do the best we can to help you out which may include shuffling of our schedules, use of insured independent contractor, or more creative care methods based on your pet(s). However, since the pre-scheduled jobs recieve full priority, and back-ups may not be available, there is a good chance this option won't be possible.

You will be told we are already booked for the time you're requesting and will let you know if this service is available. If it is, there will be another day/night charge added to your invoice for every 5 scheduled days.
Can you tell me what the cost for 2 horses, a pig, and a dog would be?

For 24-hour care, it would be a base rate of $30 + $10 per horse ($20) + $5 for the pig + $10 for one dog. Grand total would be $65 per night.

Two visits daily would be a base rate of $10 + $20 for two horses + $5 for a pig + and $10 for the dog. Grand total would be $45 per day.
You don't seem to have any prices for chickens listed with your prices...I have 5 horses and a flock of chickens that need to be let in/out each day. Around what would that cost?

For 24-hour care, it would be a base rate of $30 + $10 per horse ($50) and only $5 for the chickens: they are counted as one extra entity since they don't need individual care.
Grand total would be $85 per night.

Two visits daily would be a base rate of $10 + $50 + $5 for five horses and a flock of chickens. Grand total would be $65 per day.
I have a Caique (sm/med parrot) that I'd like to have someone watch while I'm gone. How much would it be to board him at your facility?

It would be either $10 daily or $15 daily.

Birds are priced differently than companion animals and are done on a per basis job. Small birds such as parakeets/finches/carnaries that only need maintenance care (fresh water/food with a paper change every few days) are only $5 daily. Medium birds are $10 daily (cockatiels, doves, conures, caiques, etc) for the same care. Large birds like African Grays, Eclectus, Ringnecks are also only $10 for maintenance care. Giant breeds such as Macaws and Cockatoos are $15 for maintenance.

For birds that are well-socialized and enjoy attention, they'll have daily care which is maintenance plus time out of cage for playing, bathing, snacking, and interacting. Prices for this would be $8 for small birds, $15 for med/lg, and $20 for giant parrots.

Please bring your own food and cage if possible. Sabrina's Petsitting CAN accomodate bird housing if necessary, however (must have one week notice for proper sanitation and cleansing to occur).

Birds must have been healthy for at least one year and/or purchased from a place that performs avian testing for disease. This is to safeguard both present and future boarders.
See Pricing Examples below for more accurate bird estimates!
Do you help out at riding stables?

We offer horse care and manager help.

Managing help for day camps, supervision, physical labor (not directily horse related such as mucking and feeding) or medical equine holding is $20/hour. We are also happy to discuss options if hourly hiring isn't possible/feasible for your barn/situation.

The cost for horse care can be negotiated depending on what is needed, but typically it would be the base rate of one or two visits and $10 for each horse. This price only includes feeding, watering, mucking, and turning in/out the herd.

Only 24-hour care includes grooming, riding/lunging for exercise, and medications. These items can be added to once or twice a day visits as well.
I noticed that Sabrina's Petsitting has branched out to include horse care too...what's included in this? (Visit our FAQ page for more info).

We have actually always offered it, but recently upped our advertising for it. Daily visits only include basic care of observing the horse for behavioral changes, feeding/supplementing, watering, mucking, spraying/masking, and placing hay down.

24-Hour care includes all of the above but allows for your normal routine such as grooming, hoof picking, exercising through riding/lunging (Western discipline though English is being learned), restocking hay, etc.
